Drive

She stood back from the open hatch of the car and stared at the conglomeration of boxes, bags, and bins. 18 years - this is the culmination of 18 years of raising a child, she thought. So strange. All that was necessary, sprinkled with a little fun and fancy was literally stuffed into the back of the family SUV. All the years of training, teaching, character-building, praying were going to be tested shortly.

The 6 hour Drive would be long, but the Drive home would be hard.
